Sesame Projects partnered with Nike NYC to honor the Year of the Rabbit through an intimate Lunar New Year celebration at Potluck Club in the Lower East Side. Working alongside personality Jaeki Cho, we creative produced and managed partnerships for an evening centered on peace, harmony, and community connection.
The event featured a collaborative one-night-only menu from acclaimed chefs Helen Nguyen (Saigon Social), Edmond Hong (Gud Guds), and Zhan Chen (Potluck Club), blending Cantonese, Vietnamese, and Korean flavors. We developed custom Nike invitations, red envelopes, menus, and décor while coordinating gifting from Nike and Asian-owned businesses.
The NY Chinese FreeMasons Club performed a traditional lion dance to open the evening, with premium beverages provided by Hennessy, Jinro, Sanzo, Nectar Hard Seltzer, and Kasama Rum. Local AAPI creatives captured the evening through music, video, and photography, generating significant social coverage and overwhelmingly positive community feedback as guests celebrated together through food, culture, and connection.
