In March 2023, Sesame Projects orchestrated multidisciplinary artist Eri Wakiyama's (MERMAIDHAIR) first solo exhibition in Tokyo at Bookmarc Harajuku. Building on her successful Marc Jacobs collaborations, the exhibition showcased her signature fairy-like characters while providing a strategic opportunity to present her complete artistic vision in her hometown market.

The opening reception featured guest DJ performances by YOON from AMBUSH® and Eriko Nakao, custom cocktails, and exclusive merchandise. Wakiyama was available to sign purchases and create personalized drawings, fostering intimate connections with her audience. Sesame Projects managed the strategic partnership development, event logistics, and local PR coordination, successfully launching MERMAIDHAIR's Tokyo debut and strengthening her brand presence in the Japanese market.
